StarCraft on Solaris 10

Want to play some games other than nethack or quake 1/2/3 on Solaris 10? Try this:



While you can also use Wine or some emulator, or VirtualBox virtualization, rdesktop will work just as well:

% /opt/csw/bin/rdesktop -T StarCraft -D -b -E -a 8 -x l -5 -g 640x480 SomeWindowsBox

If you want to play in full screen mode (-f) you're going to have to set your resolution to 640x480 :-).

% /opt/csw/bin/rdesktop -D -f -T StarCraft -b -E -a 8 -x l -5 -g 640x480 SomeWindowsBox
